Rated performances :

• Up to 116 rootstocks per minute
• About 98% produced according to setup length (guaranteed minimum)

Exemples 

• For a 1 000 meters long woods :
  Taking 800 conform wood meters, we got 2 758 rootstock resulting in at least 2 703 conform rootstocks in about 23 minutes*
• For 1 hour of effective work :
  2 608 of operated raw wood are giving 2 086 meters of conform wood which are producing 7 194 rootstock, resulting in at least 7 051 conform rootstock*
  (*) That 55 rootstock gap is the maximum gap that can happened in case the wood is matching the condition that we have seen earlier. The use of a perfect natural wood would allow the machine to reach 100% of success, resulting in 2 758 corresponding rootstocks in this example.

Maintenance

• Blade sharpening  : After about 1 Million rootstock (depends of the kind of wood)
• Cameras cleaning : 4 times a day
• Blowing the dirt away : 4 times a day (same as cameras cleaning)

Restrictions

• Wood has to be : dry, clean and freshly harvested.
• Non conform wood (uncleaned, wet, regularity, flatness…) may slow and break down the machine performances.
• The natural wood defects (sickness, hail…) who didn’t cause too many damage to the wood (small cut, small hole,..) are purposely not detected by the machine. So, they are not interpreted like an underperformance. This configuration leaves the possibility of a second manual sorting, according to the user’s choice, to qualify the conformity of rootstocks.
